YouTube Vanced v15.05.54 [No Root & Root]

Enjoy your favorite videos and channels without ADS and with Background Play on this YouTube app.

FEATURES

  • No root needed to install
  • No need to uninstall official YouTube, can install as a secondary YouTube.
  • Works on a Chromecast.
  • Whole new ad blacking method 
  • Simplified mod to enable background playback
  • Enable/Disable background playback via Settings
  • Force VP9 Codec option for better video quality and lesser bandwidth usage (Settings -> IYTBP Settings)
  • Override Max Resolution Limit (Settings -> IYTBP Settings)
  • Preferred Video Quality switch (WiFi/Data) (Settings -> IYTBP Settings)
  • Enable/Disable Info Cards on videos (Settings -> IYTBP Settings)
  • Enable/Disable Suggestions Cards on videos (Settings -> IYTBP Settings)
  • Enable/Disable channel branding watermark on videos (Settings -> IYTBP Settings)
  • Pinch to zoom enabled on all devices
  • With the help of modded microG, Login & Casting works with all features (no ads on external devices not guaranteed)


HOW TO FIX LOGIN & CHROMECAST ISSUE ?

  • Download the modded microG
  • Install it as you would normally install any other apk.
  • Enjoy


KNOWN BUGS:

Offline mode doesn't work properly, app keep refreshing, to watch saved videos you have to search for it.

Please note that when switching from black to dark themed versions of the mod , it's best to remove the previous mod (i.e. the black or dark version)


WHAT'S NEW:

Removed:
- Auto subtitles (has been replaced with live captions)
- minimised video player style (old one no longer exists)
- auto repeat (might be fixed later)
- accessibility seek buttons (will be fixed later)

Changes:
- Whatever Youtube fixed over 9 months 😛
- some small bugs
- installation now with SAI


INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Installation Instructions (No root)

  1. Download and install MicroG
  2. Download SAI from the playstore: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aefyr.sai
  3. Select the vanced .apks file you downloaded (it's in your Downloads folder)
  4. Click install

Installation Instructions (root)

  1. Disable apk verification (look for an xposed module or similiar app to do this) https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/module-smali-patcher-0-7-t3680053 works for Android < 10
  2. Download SAI from the playstore: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aefyr.sai
  3. Enable root mode in SAI
  4. Select the vanced .apks file you downloaded (it's in your Downloads folder)
  5. Click install
